Cornus alba 'Red Gnome™' Dwarf Red Dogwood

Cornus alba 'Red Gnome™'

Rare Dwarf Red Dogwood

Zones 2-8

Partial to Full Sun

Cornus alba 'Red Gnome' is a swiftly growing deciduous shrub with multiple stems that tend to spread, originating from eastern and central Asia, particularly areas with a historical presence of Tatars or Tartars. Typically reaching heights of 8-10 ft when mature, it boasts creamy white flowers arranged in flat clusters, blooming in late spring and occasionally extending into early summer with intermittent flowering. These blooms transition into white berries tinged with blue-green, ripening by mid-summer and serving as a delightful attraction for birds. Over a span of 10 years, it can grow to a height of 3 to 4 ft.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of woody ornamentals, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the woody ornamentals you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
