'Happenstance' is a nice evergreen dogwood that is a prolific bloomer. Evergreen dogwoods are quite amazing. The dark glossy foliage is semi-evergreen in colder climates, while it is more evergreen in warmer climates. 'Happenstance' blooms in late spring to early summer and covers the branches with white dogwood blossoms that are especially attractive. 'Happenstance' may reach 12-15 ft in height in 10 years. For best growth rate give morning sun and afternoon shade in hotter climates.
