'Canis minimus' is a selection of native dogwood that was found and introduced by our good friend Elton Liles of PlantMan Landscaping. 'Canis mimimus' was found as a witches broom, but the unique thing about this dwarf dogwood selection is that it is a prolific bloomer. 'Canis mimimus' is latin for "little dog". 'Canis minimus' may reach 3-4 ft in height and width in 10 years.
