'Kristin Lipka’s Variegated Weeper’ is an amazing tree that seems made up. It is a weeping variegated Chinese dogwood with beautiful white blooms. Installed, this variegated dogwood weeps and crawls across the ground. I like to grow this tree by staking it to 4 ft allowing it to cascade from a higher point. Growing it this way will typically make a dogwood 5-6 ft in height by 7-8 ft in width in 10 years. This selection was found and patented by plantsman Bob Lipka. Proceeds from the patent fees go to Leukemia, Lymphoma Research Center.
