'Ansorgei' is a rare European Beech selection that has extremely narrow leaves and dark purple red foliage. These leaves on ‘Ansorgei’ can be extremely elongated reaching 5-6 inches in length. ‘Ansorgei’ is smaller selection reach 6-8 ft in height in 10 years. Fall color is a bright yellow.
