Fothergilla 'Blue Mist’ is a special form of witch alder with powdery blue foliage. The blue leaves contrast so well with the white bottlebrush like blooms in the spring. These blooms have a sweet fragrance similar to honey. ‘Blue Mist’ may reach 3 ft in height and width in 10 years. Give ‘Blue Mist’ morning sun to full sun for best establishment in the landscape. ‘Blue Mist’ adds a dynamic blue color in small spaces, making it very easy to use in the garden.
