'Meczek’ is a flowering ash that makes a perfect rounded globe-like canopy with age over time. The name “Meczek” comes as this selection was found in Hungary in the Meczek mountains.  ‘Meczek’ is easy to plant in mass plantings because every tree matches the other. In early to mid spring this manna ash is covered in beautiful fluffy white blooms . The green leaves fill out on this tree giving full form to this  tree’s globe-like shape. In the fall, the leaves on ‘Meczek’ turns to bright oranges to red. ‘Meczek’ may reach 6-8 ft in height and width in 10 years. Please do a google image search for this plant as the full form is amazing. Extremely rare in the United States.
