'Grindstone' is an upright male ginkgo tree that is extremely narrow. It was found at a rest area and displayed one of the narrowest forms. 'Grindstone' has green leaves during the spring, through summer, but in the fall it lights up with that golden yellow fall color that makes ginkgo trees famous. 'Grindstone' may get 20 ft in height by 6 ft wide in 12-15 years.
