RED FLOWERING 'DIANE' WITCH HAZEL

'Diane' is a remarkable red witch hazel. The flowers are a bright red, with a maroon calyx giving an overall red effect that is quite striking. 'Diane' may reach 8-10 ft in 15 years. The foliage on 'Diane' typically gives some amazing colors of yellow, orange, and crimson red in the fall. 'Diane' is another amazing witch hazel selection from Jelena and Robert de Belder at Kalmthout Arboretum. 'Diane' was the name of their daughter. Hamamelis 'Diane' won the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society in 1993.
