'Ruby Slippers’ is a unique small growing selection of oak leaf hydrangea that was developed by the US National Arboretum. When the blooms first appear, they are a bright white, later developing a pink blush over white. The pink blush transforms into pink blooms, then a ruby red. ‘Ruby Slippers’ may reach 3-4 ft in height by 5 ft in width in 10 years.
