'Satyr Hill’ is an excellent form of American Holly with a dense conical habit. The leaves are tortoise shell-like.  Great news! It is a female form which means it develops those beautiful orange red berries. ‘Satyr Hill’ was given one of the very first Holly of the Year Awards by Holly Society of America. It is a great plant that can be used in a number of ways in the landscape and garden including screening, background planting, accent planting, vertical interest planting and so much more. Once established ‘Satyr Hill’ may grow 3-4 ft in a year reaching 25-30 ft in 10 years.
