lIex x ‘Rock Garden’ is one of the best miniature hollies. While growth on ‘Rock Garden’ may be less than 1-2 inches of growth a year, this compact holly makes a big impact with with its tight form and red berries. Being a female holly, the bright red berries contrast nicely against the dark green foliage. ‘Rock Garden’ may reach  1-2ft in height and width  in 10 years. ‘Rock Garden’ is excellent in containers, fairy gardens, small spaces in the landscape, and miniature railroad gardens.
