Osmanthus heterophyllus 'Sasaba' is a fragrant tea olive with spiky foliage. This spiky foliage give this false holly something unique that will add a bit of texture in the landscape. This selection was brought back from Japan originally by Barry Yinger and introduced into the nursery trade through Brookside Gardens. White fragrant blooms are an added bonus in October to November. 'Sasaba' may reach 6 ft in 15 years.
