Picea pungens 'Pali' is a true dwarf compact form of Colorado spruce. The blue color is especially silver-blue, giving a lot of color in small spaces. Picea pungens 'Pali' is very small and extremely compact. 'Pali' may reach 1.5 ft in height and width in 10 years. Picea pungens 'Pali' originated as a chance seedling in the 1970's by Pal Lengyel in Hungary. 'Pali' is great for containers, conifer troughes, and fairy gardens.
