'Schoodic’ is a wonderfully spreading and prostrate selection of jack pine that was introduced into the nursery trade by Al Fordham from a chance seedling found on the Schoodic peninsula in Maine. This sprawling habit is quite unique, making this a unique small tree or ground cover for the landscape and garden. ‘Schoodic’ may reach 1-2 ft in height by 4-5 ft in width in 10 years.
