'Greg’ is a witches broom with a tight compact habit. The needles are shorter that ‘Hortsford Dwarf’, but are extremely showy with its dense habit. ‘Greg’ may reach 1.5-2ft in height and width in 10 years. ‘Greg’ makes an excellent dwarf pine for small spaces and containers. 

‘Greg’ was found by Greg Williams as one of many witches brooms under evaluation. When a friend named it ‘Greg’ and introduced it, Greg Williams agreed and began using this name as well.
