Pinus thunbergii 'Yatsubusa' is an excellent dwarf Japanese black pine that has a dense compact habit, reaching 3-4ft in height and width in 10 years. "Yatsubusa" is a Japanese term referring to something that is dwarf or small. Pinus thunbergii 'Yatsubusa' has also been under the name 'Sayonara'.
