'Kojo no mai' has a spectacular architectural presence in the landscape and garden with twisted and contorted branching that zig-and-zag this way and that. In the spring small white to light pink blooms fill these interestingly twisted branches often before the green foliage emerges. 'Kojo no mai' may reach 7-8 ft in 10 years.
