Prunus jacquemontii is self pollinating, and red cherries often follow the blooms. Prunus jacquemontii tree may reach 3-5 ft in height and 2-4 ft in width in 10 years when planted in the landscape. Prunus jacquemontii is native to Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Tajikistan & Tibet. Prunus jacquemontii was named after French botanist Victor Jacquemontii.
