Quercus robur ’Furst Schwarzenberg' is a rare oak that is easy to grow, but difficult to propagate. Because of this, ’Furst Schwarzenberg' is rarely found available in the nursery trade. ‘Furst Schwarzenberg’ is a variegated plant lovers' dream. While the first flush on this English oak is green, the secondary flush in the summer begins pink, then is nearly all white with green speckles. ‘Furst Schwarzenberg’ may stay small at first, but once it is established, it goes turn into a tree reaching 12-15 ft in 10 years.
