'Ballet' is a selection of Japanese stewartia from Polly Hill Arboretum that was selected for strong distinct branching and large 4 inch white flowers that appear in late spring to early summer. 'Ballet' has the same fiery orange-red fall color that you love with Japanese stewartia. 'Ballet' also has great bark interest on older specimens of grey, white, orange-brown, and darkĀ cinnamon-colored bark that is typical of Stewartia pseudocamellia. 'Ballet' may reach 12-14 ft in 15 years.
