Stewartia rostrata is the upright stewartia with a grey-brown bark and larger 2-2.5 inch white blooms. The blooms on this are some of the best of any stewartia. Sometimes a slight pink blotch may appear on the white blooms. The green leaves of Stewartia rostrata turn orange to red in the fall. Stewartia rostrata may reach 12-14 ft in height in 10 years.
