'Gold Spring' is a new selection of stewartia rostrata that has golden yellow new growth in the early spring. During the summer, 'Gold Spring' develops large 2-2.5 inch white blooms that are some of the nicest blooms of any stewartia. The fall color is a brilliant red. 'Gold Spring' may reach 12-15 ft in height in 10 years.
