'Pendula’ is one of the most popular selections of Japanese pagoda tree. The hooking and weeping habit of older specimens is quite attractive. This tree is prized and often found in arboretums, but not often found in the nursery trade. ‘Pendula’ shows off best when staked higher to allow it to cascade from a higher point. ‘Pendula’ may reach 5-6 ft in height by 7-8ft in width in 10 years.
