'Prarie Sentinelâ is a narrow bald cypress selection that forms a columnar spire at a young age, getting only slightly wider with age. âPrairie Sentinelâ may reach 12-15 ft in height by 3-4ft in width in 10 years. âPrairie Sentinelâ was found and introduced in 1974 by  Earl Cully of Cully Nursery in Jacksonville, Illinois.
