Customers have been asking for us to make this tree available again for some time. We have one planted on the bank at the nursery that displays how tight and dense this arborvitae can be. There are many columnar plants, but this tree is truly fastigate. Our 'Degroot's Spire' is about 7-8 ft and about 1 foot wide in 10 years. 'Degroot's Spire' typically grows about 6-8 inches of growth in a year. This narrow growing conifer is extremely unique and interesting. 'Degroot's Spire' is great to add a special interest in any garden but can definitely fit in small spaces.
