Camellia sasanqua 'Long Island Pink' Pink Flowering Camellia was discovered on Long Island and is one of the most cold-hardy camellia varieties, thriving in cooler climates where many others struggle. This resilient hybrid produces an abundance of bright pink flowers, ranging from single to semi-double blooms, in mid-fall, creating a striking contrast against its large, glossy dark green foliage. In spring, new leaves emerge with a bronze tint, adding seasonal interest. In 10 years, the Long Island Pink Camellia reaches 6 to 8 ft in height and 5 to 6 ft in width.
