Acer palmatum 'Hanezu hagoromo'
Orange HagoromoĀ
Japanese Maple

Zones 5-9

The "Orange Hagoromo" leafs out as a bright orange in the early spring. The leaves are heavily divided and look like feathers. Older nurserymen refer to this style of leaf as the "sessilifolium" style. This style of leaf gives an interesting and unique texture to a Japanese maple.

By late spring it has matured to a bright neon yellow. By mid-summer the leaves have changed to a bright chartreuse green. During the fall, this selection turns bright orange to reds. 'Orange Hagoromo' is projected to reach 6 ft in height by 5 ft in width in 10 years. 'Orange Hagoromo' is also known as 'Hanezu' or 'Hanezu Hagoromo'. This tree is a beauty in the garden.

Limited Quantities Available !!Ā As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
