'Olsen's Frosted Strawberry' is a uniquely pink-red variegated dwarf reticulated Japanese Maple. This variegated Japanese maple leafs out with bright pink-red leaves with deep red veining in the leaf. By late spring, this turns to cream with deep red veining. This combination is where it gets the "Frosted Strawberry" part of its name.

'Olsen's Frosted Strawberry' was found as a chance seedling by the late Harry Olsen. This ghost-like maple turns to bright fiery orange to pink-red in the fall. This Japanese maple forms a great dwarf only reaching 6-8 ft in 10-15 years. Protection from the hot afternoon sun is ideal to peak intensity of the colors and to keep the most amazing display of colors the longest.
