Quercus robur x bicolor 'Skinny Genes' is a hybrid oak combining traits of English oak (Quercus robur) and Swamp white oak (Quercus bicolor). It is known for its narrow, upright growth habit, making it ideal for small spaces and urban landscapes. This deciduous tree features dark green, lobed leaves that turn golden yellow in fall. It is disease-resistant, adaptable to various soils, and thrives in full sun with moderate moisture. Over time, it reaches a height of 40–50 ft with a width of only 10–15 ft. Its strong structure and tolerance to urban conditions make it a great choice for street or landscape planting.
