Hydrangea macrophylla 'Tinkerbell' is a lush bi-color hydrangea boasting sizable, flat, triple-star-shaped pink blooms with delicate white edges, gracing gardens from June through September. When nestled in acidic soil, these blooms take on a serene blue hue. Its ovate, dark green leaves feature subtle serrations along the edges. Bred by Japanese horticulturist, Toyokazu Ichie, renowned for creating varieties like Wedding Gown and Stargazer hydrangeas, 'Tinkerbell' thrives best in shaded or partially shaded environments. Expect it to reach dimensions of 3 ft in height and 3.5 ft in width within 10 years. 'Tinkerbell' has also been known under the name 'Rosy Splendor'.
