Larix Kaempferi 'Peve Tunnis' Rare Japanese Larch
Larix Kaempferi 'Peve Tunnis'
Rare Japanese Larch
Zones 4-7
âPeve Tunnisâ is a dwarf variety of Japanese Larch discovered by Piet Vergeldt in St. Anthonis, The Netherlands, as a witches' broom mutation. Its foliage is greener than that of âHeverbeckâ and âWolterdingenâ and it has a low, flat habit. In 10 years, âPeve Tunnisâ can grow up to 2 ft in height and width. While larches are deciduous and can appear âdeadâ for half the year, âPeve Tunnisâ looks very much alive with its orange-brown lateral twigs studded with buds. In spring, you can imagine a bird laying its eggs on the ready-made nest.
Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
