Nyssa sylvatica 'Red Vain’ is a cascading selection of American black gum tree. This weeping selection has branches that arch downward creating a nice pendulous effect for the upright tree. ‘Red Vain’ may reach 12-15 ft in height in 10 years. Fall color on ‘Red Vain’ is a brilliant bold red that make black guns so popular in autumn.
