'Gold Drift' is a weeping golden Norway spruce with a heavily cascading habit. 'Gold Drift' will get as tall as you stake it. If not, it will meander across the ground making a unique large ground cover. While 'Gold Drift' may handle full sun in some climates, I recommend some protection from the hot afternoon sun in hotter climates like the southern United States. The gold habit on 'Gold Drift' provides a great color contrast with greens, blues, and red in the garden. 'Gold Drift' was a selection by a good friend of ours, Robert Finchum. 'Gold Drift' may reach 10-12 ft in 10 years. 'Gold Drift' won the 2013 Conifer of Year Honors.
