Picea glauca ‘Burning Well' White Spruce

Picea glauca 'Burning Well'

 White Spruce

Zones 2b-9

Picea glauca ‘Burning Well’ is a miniature, slow-growing dwarf spruce prized for its dense, bun-shaped form and striking silver-blue needles. This tiny conifer grows only about an inch per year, forming a tight gray-blue cushion that brings refined texture to rock gardens, troughs, and small landscape spaces. Round orange-brown buds provide beautiful contrast—especially in winter—adding unexpected seasonal interest to this compact plant. Thriving in sun to mostly sun with regular water, ‘Burning Well’ prefers average, well-drained soil. Expect it to reach approximately 6 inches tall by 1 ft wide in 10 years, with an ultimate size of about 1 foot tall by 18 inches wide.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the spruce trees you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
