Pinus flexilis 'Vanderwolf’s Pyramid' is a blue selection of Rocky Mountain white pine with an amazingly narrow pyramidal form. This shape is extremely attractive as well as the heavily desired blue color on the needles. ‘Vanderwolf’s Pyramidal’ is good growing tree reaching 12-15 ft in height in 10 years. ‘Vanderwolf’s Pyramid’ was introduced in 1970 from Vermuelen & Son Nursery and named after their lead propagator, Rein Vanderwolf.
