Pinus sylvestris 'Aurea' is a small, slow-growing conifer reaching 6ft by 3 ft in 10 years. Its foliage transitions from dull green in summer to golden yellow in winter. Named forma aurea by Ottolander in 1876, this clone was established by Veitch in 1900. Ideal for small gardens and winter color contrast.
