‘Earl’s Gold’ is a beautiful native selection by Earl Sommerville of Marietta, Ga. ‘Earl’s Gold’ native Azalea is a Rhododendron austrinum, as the taxonomists now call it. Earl found ‘Earl’s Gold’ as an open pollinated seedling that had great vigor and a good bloom. In 10 years, ‘Earl’s Gold’ may reach 7-8 ft in height by 4 ft in width. The spring golden yellow flowers cluster together to create a larger bloom that adds quite a bit of color in the spring garden. If you love native azaleas, this golden selection is a great easy-to-grow native for your landscape.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
