‘Lacinata’ is one of the most interesting horse chestnuts. The deeply divided green leaves have a saw-like spidery appearance. ‘Lacinata’ has the white blooms typical of the European chestnut. Fall color can be a yellow. ‘Lacinata’ is a slow growing tree reaching 8-10 ft in 15 years. In the south, give some protection from the hot afternoon sun for the best growth rate.
