'Aurea' is a golden foliaged form of Catalpa or Indian Bean Tree. 'Aurea' leafs out dark green, becoming more chartreuse,  then becoming more yellow as the season progresses. The glowing effect of the bright yellow on a mid-size tree in full sun can be quite striking in the landscape. 'Aurea' may reach 20 ft in height by 15 ft in width in 10 years. 'Aurea' is a hardy tree for the landscape that can handle the sun extremely well for a golden foliage plant. This catalpa is also a tree that will grow well even in poor soils. What more could you ask for!  

Trees are curvy and twisting one gallons and should be staked upright once planted.
