'Frank' is a narrow fastigate selection of Austrian Black Pine. The needles are shorter than the species. The dense habit gives this columnar selection a full compact yet full appearance. 'Frank' may reach 8-10 ft in height by 3 ft in width in 10 years. 'Frank' was found and introduced by Mitsch Nursery of Oregon.
Trees were potted from large liners to gallons in this spring and may not have completely filled out their pots.
